  • UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment

The UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART) is dedicated to improving the lives of all children and adults with autism, and their families, through its research, patient care, and training of the next generation of researchers and clinical practitioners. We achieve these goals by fostering a strong collaborative environment for basic and clinical research, a supportive environment for trainees from all disciplines, and building connections with our community.

  • Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is an interdisciplinary research and education institute devoted to the understanding of complex human behavior, including the genetic, biological, behavioral and sociocultural underpinnings of normal behavior, and the causes and consequences of neuropsychiatric disorders.

  • Center for the Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States

The UCLA Center for the Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States (CAPPS) aims to provide early intervention to vulnerable youth at clinical high risk for psychosis. The more our community stays informed and recognizes early signs of mental health disorders in youth, the greater an impact we can have in decreasing suffering and disability.
